The ShockRite SRM412 1.2J Electric Fence Energiser is ideal for powering up to 6km of electric fencing wire/tape with a strong 1.2 Joule shock.
This kit includes 200m Green Electric Fence Wire and 25 Ring Insulators, in addition to the Earth Stake/Grounding Rod and Connection Cables that are included with the energiser.

A very reasonable price with a quick delivery. Simple to set up. I’ve housed it in a lidded 5 litre bucket, plugged into an outside socket (with circuit breaker). Works very well. Thankfully a friend gave me a fence current tester…. I couldn’t stop myself checking it with my hand Ouch! 🙂

I had a lot of questions before I purchased the Shockrite electric fence which were answered without delay. Energizer arrived very quickly and I have now got it working. Time will tell if it keeps out the rabbits or badgers.
As the unit is mains electric it has to be kept dry and therefore it would be better with longer cables.
